Online Newspapers is a directory of news websites organised by country. It lists 2,808 titles across 28 countries, plus one subject page for technology, and every entry links straight to the publisher’s own site.
Each country page opens with a short guide to that country’s press — which mastheads carry the national conversation, which regional papers are the main local record, where the public broadcasters and the digital-only newsrooms sit, and what is likely to be behind a paywall — and the full list of titles follows below it.
The mix is deliberately wide. Alongside the large national dailies you will find regional and local papers, public-service broadcasters, business and financial titles, sports desks, and the independent digital outlets that in several countries now carry much of the investigative reporting. The lists are maintained by hand rather than scraped, and re-checked for dead and redirected addresses; the last full pass was in September 2026.
Nothing here requires an account, and no entry is paid for or sponsored — a title is listed because it is a significant news source in its market.
